Climbing is an inspiring sport, centuries old, that has always encouraged positive imagination and an active mind and body. Today, it is an outdoor and indoor activity that constantly sets and exceeds new limits. A new community of urban and eco-friendly climbers has been born. They are addicted, enthusiastic and immersed in their discipline.
SNAP, born in the 90s in Chamonix, is an iconic French brand known in the climbing world for its quirky and innovative vision of climbing products. From the beginning, SNAP made its mark with wiregate quickdraws and ultra-resistant crash pads. Today, it continues to break away from strictly traditional views and creates standards for a new spontaneous vision of climbing, encouraging free and aesthetic spirits.

TOURNEDOS CONSTRUCTION
This is an exclusive construction method. It is a one-piece ballistic polyester (1680 denier) reinforcement that goes all the way around the crash pad, over, over and under, without any seams on the edges. Try to find a more resistant crash pad!
THE WRAP CRASH PAD
This is a patented variable hardness model that makes the scarf relatively flexible and comfortable for sit starts, but the higher you go and the longer the fall, the firmer the crash pad becomes. The PU foam is separated into 24 individual cells, each covered with a taffeta envelope, which is slightly pierced. During a small fall, air is expelled through these holes, resulting in a softer landing, but this is not the case during a larger fall. In this case, the air is retained by the envelope because the speed of the impact is much higher and the air does not have time to be expelled. The net result is a firmer crash pad for a high impact fall – simple but effective.

SNAPBOARD
An innovative wooden beam where the different holds are placed symmetrically in relation to their different grips, and not in relation to the center of the board. This means that shoulder width remains constant.
CHALK CREAM
The first Chalk cream that is thicker than liquid Chalk. It is water-based and can be used often because it is less aggressive on the skin. It favors comfort rather than performance and is easy to clean.

QUARTERPOUNDER CRASH-PAD
Another patented model that fills in four. When unfolded, its landing area relative to its folded volume is unique. This makes it easy to transport and ideal for block circuits.
SNAPACK
The first backpack to have a zippered opening between the carrying straps. It's easy to open and gives direct access to all your gear, which, like the straps, stays clean and dry because it's never in contact with the ground.

DIGITALLY RESISTANT SEAMS
Logo-shaped seams are sewn by an automated machine, replacing traditional straight seams sewn manually. They are used in quickdraws and harness belay loops.
WHAM CRASH-PAD
This model, created in 2001, is kind of the symbol of the SNAP brand. It's a one-piece design that rolls up without creases, seams, or weak points in the middle. Easy to carry and super safe to use.
